My Wednesdays are pretty busy, actually—poetry lab at 9:30, followed by counseling, work, a short break (aka finish homework), finally ending with writing for magazine class.

Monday was my first day actually tutoring and it didn’t go as well as I expected. One student asked me, “how do you analyze?” I tried to explain it, but I’m having trouble externalizing something that is like my second nature. I don’t feel like I helped my students and I feel bad because of it. Hopefully today is better.
